Stretch Therapy UK Method
Course Reviews
Reviews from practitioners who have completed the Stretch Therapy UK Method Course, taken from their post-course feedback.
Prior to attending the course, I expected to learn how to safely and effectively assist clients with stretching techniques from an instructor who was both competent and knowledgeable. Alison exceeded those expectations entirely. Not only is she exceptionally skilled and highly knowledgeable, but she is also deeply passionate about helping her clients and students go beyond their perceived limitations and reach their full potential.
Alison has inspired me to further develop my understanding of human movement and the mechanics of the body. A truly great teacher is someone who is passionate about their craft and equally committed to ensuring their students become confident, competent, and knowledgeable practitioners — and Alison embodies all of these qualities.
As a Sports Therapist working in professional sport, updating my skill set to support athletes is important. I feel this course has plugged some of the gaps in my day to day practice and will enhance my ability to help athletes maximise their training and match availability.
As students we had enough opportunities to ask Alison any questions during class. 6 months is ample time to go away and complete the assignments whilst implementing and honing the new skills. Alison has made it clear that if we need more support leading up to the final assessment, she is there to help and support us.
The course fully met and in several areas exceeded my expectations prior to attending. The content was relevant, well-structured, and pitched at the right level, giving a strong balance of theory and practical application. The delivery was clear, engaging, and well-paced, which made the material easy to follow and apply. There was plenty of chance to practice and get hands on experience.
The knowledge and skills gained feel highly relevant to current practice within the fitness, health, and manual therapy industry. The course content was practical, up to date, and directly applicable in real-world settings, which makes it valuable for improving both client outcomes and professional confidence. It also reflected current industry expectations well, helping bridge the gap between theory and everyday practice.
I felt the course was good value for money, particularly because of the amount of practical teaching and hands-on experience we received. I enjoyed the course and came away feeling that I had learned skills I can genuinely use in practice.
This course represented excellent value for money. The Stretch Therapy UK method is incredibly valuable for practitioners who take the time to truly develop and master the techniques, as it offers clients an effective and innovative approach to improving movement, mobility, and overall physical function.
While there are other assisted stretching courses available, none that I have encountered are as in-depth or comprehensive as Alison’s. What makes this course particularly worthwhile is the opportunity to learn directly from Alison herself. She is unlike any instructor I have previously worked with within this industry. Her understanding of human movement, body mechanics, and functional mobility is exceptional, and her passion for the subject is clearly reflected in the way she teaches and supports her students.
Everything Alison presented and taught throughout the course was clear, well-structured, and organised. Prior to enrolling, I contacted Alison with a few questions regarding the level of practitioner required to undertake the course, and she consistently provided clear, direct, and informative responses.
Throughout the course, Alison used a presentation-based learning format that supported both the theoretical and practical elements of the training. This was extremely helpful when learning new techniques and practicing with one another during the sessions.
Alison’s continued support beyond the classroom has also been invaluable, as it has provided us with ongoing access to guidance and learning remotely. Her communication is always professional, clear, and concise, which has made it easy to seek advice and continue developing our understanding and skills.
The course definitely met my expectations. I thought it was well structured and there was a good balance between learning the theory and putting it into practice. You were very knowledgeable and explained things in a way that was easy to understand. I’m a very hands-on learner, so I particularly enjoyed how much time we spent practising the techniques.
I do feel the course provided excellent value for money. The quality of the teaching, the relevance of the content, and the level of support throughout made it a worthwhile investment. It offered a strong balance of knowledge, practical application, and professional development. Overall, I was very satisfied with the experience.
I felt the support throughout the course was impeccable and even after the course finished, Ali still answers any questions I have and is eager to help me progress even once the course was finished.
Communication and course information were very clear and accessible from the initial enquiry right through to course completion. Information was provided in a timely, well-organized, and easy-to-understand way, which made the whole process smooth and reassuring. Ali is always there to answer any questions in a number of ways, Instagram, email and whatsapp. She also makes it clear that we can always message after the course if we need her.
The knowledge and skills gained are highly relevant to current practice within
the sports therapy, fitness, and manual therapy industries. The methods provide practical
solutions that can help client outcomes, mobility, recovery and overall movement quality.
5 hour intense classes is perfect. Enough knowledge shared and practice time given without information overload.
