The Stretch Therapy UK Method is a proprietary, chartered approach to manual therapy—formally recognized by CIMSPA and delivered through a YMCA Awards–endorsed training provider.

This immersive, in-person training awards 10 CPD points and is designed for established movement and manual therapy professionals seeking to refine clinical reasoning, develop advanced hands-on skill, and work with greater precision across complex bodies.

What the course covers

The curriculum integrates theory, practice, and professional application, including:

  • Functional anatomy and physiology

  • Human movement science

  • Fascial and joint integration

  • Client assessment and session design

  • Client growth, retention, and business development

Originally piloted in Abu Dhabi, the Stretch Therapy UK Method is now being delivered internationally.

Course structure & delivery

  • Duration: 3 days

  • Contact hours: 18 (in-person)

  • CPD: 10 CIMSPA CPD points

  • Instructor: Alison Eitner, Founder & Director of Stretch Therapy UK

  • Assessment:

    • Final assessments are conducted privately in a 1-to-1 setting outside class hours

    • Learners are required to provide their own client for assessment

Successful completion leads to qualification in the Stretch Therapy UK Method, endorsed by YMCA Awards, CIMSPA, and Stretch Therapy UK.

Entry requirements

This course is currently open to mid-level practitioners.

UK learners must hold:

  • Level 3 Sports Massage (or equivalent)

US learners must hold at least one of the following:

  • Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)

  • Manual therapy qualification

  • Personal training qualification

Entry-level training will be available in the near future.
